INFORMATION
The POWERFOOT Performance Insert is a simple yet powerful upgrade that attaches to the underside of your skate's toe cap. It stabilizes your toes and enhances responsiveness for a more connected feel. Experience explosive starts, powerful crossovers, and more efficient strides. This patented product is a top-seller in Canada, frequently selling out every season.
How It Works & Performance Boost
By filling the empty space (negative space) inside the toe cap, the insert stabilizes the toes and maximizes "toe snap" at the end of each stride. In controlled environment testing, players reported a 5–10% reduction in the number of strides required to cover the same distance, leading to significant energy savings.
Fit & Comfort
Most players report that their skates feel significantly more comfortable with the inserts than without. It creates a snug, custom-fit feel across the top of your toes.
Plantar Fasciitis & Bone Spurs
By limiting unnecessary toe movement and "scrunching," these inserts may help reduce irritation and lower the risk of aggravating symptoms related to plantar fasciitis or bone spurs.
Compatibility
Compatible with all major skate brands, including Bauer, Reebok, CCM, Easton, Mission, ITECH, and Graf. They are also highly effective in low-profile skates like the Easton Mako.
Goalie Skates
The inserts provide more explosive power during lateral pushes and help reduce unnecessary foot movement inside the boot during butterfly transitions. Many goalies have reported that their skates feel significantly more comfortable after installation.
SIZE
Y13 – JR5.5 → Junior SR6 – 12.5 → Adult (Senior)

FIT & COMFORT
Finding the Perfect Fit

If Too Tight
-
Check Positioning: Re-verify the placement inside the toe cap.
-
Remove Shims: Take out the included shims to create more room.
-
Break-in Period: The foam will mold to your toe shape after 2–3 uses.
-
Caution: If discomfort persists, discontinue use.
If Too Loose
HOW TO INSTALL
-
Loosen Laces: Loosen the skate laces and pull the tongue up as far as possible.

During Sharpening: There is no need to remove the inserts when sharpening your skates.
-
Heat Molding: We do not recommend heat molding after installation (high temperatures may damage the inserts).
-
Removal: Due to the nature of the adhesive strips, the inserts may be damaged upon removal.
-
After Use: Loosen the laces and pull the tongue open to allow for proper ventilation and drying.
-
Cleaning: Use lukewarm water with a mild detergent. Air dry only.
